Silver birch on Studland heath.
A time for gold, a time for dreams
of magic tales and fairy trails
through woodland walks, by silver streams.
When day and night have equal light
and sun beams gleam on fallen leaves
as mists and dew refresh the earth.
While singing birds are here to stay
the Swallows gather to fly away
until the trees grow green again, as if by magic.
